Competition today was fierce. I had so many great games. This game I ended up getting 3rd despite the fact that my entire squad was eliminated & disconnected. I also played some games on my new account. In one game I went up against an advanced builder & forced him multiple times back to the ground. I probably should have won more games today!This was actually one of my first matches of the day, perhaps even the first? I channeled my inner Don Draper or perhaps John Wick & refused to lose. It was a duo & I went up against several duos in a row & won despite the fact that the kid I was randomly placed with was eliminated in the middle of the match. I took out the final guy with a purple tactical shotgun after eating a slurp fish. I looted the tactical shotgun off of someone I eliminated. The rest had been eliminated with a P90. I used some rockets too.I probably should have won more games on my new account, but I was working on challenges. At one point I heard a guy yelling at his girlfriend because she “wanted to cuddle” & he wanted to play Fortnite. It was so dramatic I muted him. It was already a hard squad because it started off a three man squad & then one of them disconnected so it was just me & the other guy. Then when it came down to the final fight, he hid & I was left alone to fight an entire squad. Since this account isn’t that high level, I didn’t hear a bunch of “Oh My God you’re level 431!” or anything like that. I did also get a squad with a guy who, maybe he wasn’t using aim bot, but he was definitely using some type of aim correction because after I was eliminated I watched him multiple times point his gun at places & then start shooting & it would adjust to hit the target, which, could have been him, if, the person wasn’t hiding in a bush in one case, & behind a wall in another!
This game was hilarious because my random duo partner kept getting scared of the storm & then it came down to a fight between 8 people in a circle smaller than this. Once my partner did commit to the fight, he was eliminated & there was no way I could revive him. Fortunately I had Dillon to talk to in the other channel while I continued to fight my way into 4th place. I also gained a level along the way.This was a team effort. This squad run was pretty awesome to say the least. So, we dropped on Retail Row & I was nearly ambushed from the start so I escaped as Yenter & my friend from Milwaukee were eliminated. As I escaped, MGD grabbed Yenter’s & Milwaukee’s reboot cards & then he too was eliminated. There were at least 7 people on him so there was no way I could save MGD. So I went to Misty & rebooted Yenter & Milwaukee just as the storm overtook us. We exited the storm & made our way to my Fortnite house, also known as the zombie drop. It worked out & in the end the three of us stood victorious.This is another game where MGD sacrificed himself so that the rest of us could win. Milwaukee said it was all me & Yenter & that he was just watching, & there is some truth to that, but on the other hand, we would have never won without Milwaukee & MGD.Another free llama. This actually turned into a gold llama but I didn’t catch it with a screenshot.With no challenges left to do & a fairly lame item shop the last few days, I haven’t played much. I played two games yesterday & will be back when the challenges update.They would have lost this game if not for me. I showed up & got three eliminations in a row. I took out the last guy from afar with a few shots from my tactical shotgun. It worked out & I am glad I managed to pull this one off since I’m not playing too many games. I nearly clutched a squad win earlier but came in second after taking out two players in a row. I had the guy down to 20 health but that’s the way she goes. Really, that’s not bad for a pickup squad.I ended up winning this rumble too, although I didn’t get any eliminations because the game kept glitching. For example, here I am trying to use a medkit & it just says, “Cannot Do That Now”.
Another llama bites the dust.There has not been a whole lot to do in game right now so I have only logged on for maybe an hour each day.In five days there will be some new challenges. Then in February the new season starts.
