The servers were having a bit of an issue so I took a break today & went to the movies. I saw Jumanji: The Next Level. I told Private Leaf he was like Milo, the character Danny Glover portrayed in Jumanji. Private Leaf knows what to do, he just goes about it entirely too slow.The only thing I did, since the servers kept kicking everyone intermittently, was complete my punch card, do my daily mission, & win this game.
Dillon is back from vacation so Dillon, Max, & I, jammed out as fish sticks. Kylo seems confused.This is what it looks like when you get the win & haven’t even left the storm. This is the second time I’ve won without leaving the storm once I entered it.Watcha gonna do brother when the storm comes for you?Dillon kicked ass in his return match. The other two members of our squad were eliminated & I had been watching the three squads that were left & one squad took another squad out & I realized it was two, versus two, versus two, a total of six players & three squads remaining. I told Dillon this & kept an eye on the one squad. I thought I knew where the other one was but Dillon saw them building behind us, so they had managed to go from the bridge on one side of us, to the complete opposite side of us & we were hiding in the bush pictured above. Then as they engaged the other squad there was some fighting amongst them as we sat hidden in the bush in-between. At this point I decided to emerge & immediately knocked one of the guys who had Kylo’s lightsaber. Then we all, including the other team, started shooting at the final guy in that squad & suddenly it was 2 vs 2. At that point I start throwing grenades & pull my saber, but then, just as quickly as it begun, it was over. Dillon eliminated the last two guys for the win. I wish I had seen that, I was rounding my build & headed towards theirs as Dillon eliminated them so I didn’t even see the final action & all I had really done was throw grenades at them, which I knew forced them to move in the opposite direction.Crystal right now, & probably forever, has to be one of my top three favorite skins to play as.
So I decided to buy Fortnite’s Save the World PVE expansion. It was discounted, 50% off, but I’m not sure I like it very much. I got a little mad at it because it stopped working at one point during the second mission. I couldn’t move or do anything, it just got stuck on a menu. I restarted & after that it seemed to work fine.This is what happened. I switched to my rocket launcher, opened a menu, & then I couldn’t back out from here, it was just stuck, so I had to restart the application. Also, the skins that you get with it aren’t great & unless you get lucky & pull something early, the heroes you start with are pretty much trash too. The only benefit is that you can earn V-Bucks, but then it takes time & you have to log in every day & play.Some of the things the llamas say before you bash them are kind of funny.The phrases & the items you use to break them open are fairly random & humerous.I just thought I’d share some of the different llamas.There seems to be quite a few.This llama specifically is limited to the holiday season.
I decided John Wick was the best choice for this. We played a total of four Team Rumbles. I was only eliminated once in four games. Honestly my goal was not to get eliminated at all.We started off the year with a big Team Rumble. I don’t like a few of the players who joined. I was invited before those players joined anyway & it was Jay’s rumble so of course I played. I was welcomed by many of the players there because they know me. Also, I did my best to help Jay with his computer. It seemed to work. He’s upgrading tomorrow. Mainly, there were three guys who joined who like to start trouble with people but I had already blocked & muted them. They can still play & even assist me in combat, but they can’t say anything directly to me.I don’t want to name any names, but certain people make it difficult for us to win as they get eliminated entirely too much. Even when they brag about eliminating other players, you can’t lose if you don’t get eliminated.We just happened to be on the bus when New Years hit on the West Coast. As I type this, Hawaii just celebrated the new year.
In this game, there are few things more intimidating than John Wick with a lightsaber.I can’t really complain about all the wins I get with Crystal. One squad I ended up second place only to have one of our members criticize me as if I wasn’t pulling my own weight. Everyone else was eliminated & I got us second. He can’t really complain about that, but somehow, he found a way.This was one of the greatest wins Max & I ever had in a squad. At the end I had a double elimination. We started a squad with a couple guys I knew & those two were eliminated. Max & I kept going & kept fighting & we were able to get away from another squad & get into a house. I pulled every trick I could think of. We even hid in some snowmen on the second floor for what seemed like forever. I had to tell Max the plan, we weren’t going to move & we just listened while the other squads fought. There were probably three squads left at the point Max & I escaped when our other two squad members got eliminated. We hid well in those snowmen & then Max thought we should move when the next circle formed & I agreed. We got lucky too as the storm closed in on our location. I saw the final three players building high. They all had gold guns, which I discovered later. I hit their building with my remaining explosives & we went to the back left of the house where they spotted us. I built some & with no time to explain, I left Max there. I doubled back around the right side of the house & hit one of them from below. He was already in the white, meaning he had no shields left. This mad him withdrawal into his building & I continued to shoot my gold AR which I fished out of the river. I kept throwing walls up in front of me while Max laid down cover fire. With the one guy hiding & the other two trying to down Max, I managed to get below their building & shoot out the floor. One dropped down & I knocked him, a second guy dropped down & I knocked him too, using my shotgun on both of them. As the third guy dropped, he realized it wasn’t Max shooting & knocked me. His mistake because at that point Max took him out & we got the win. This automatically restored my health & I stood up, for the win.This is what it looks like during New Years in Fortnite.
